Boating…it’s like no other pastime.  It’s peaceful, relaxing…an escape from the everyday.  It’s your passion.  You feel a sense of accomplishment as you launch the boat for which you worked so hard.  Once on the water, you swell with pride – you’re living the dream!

As you bob around on the Delaware River, you close your eyes, the River Winds gently caressing your face, your thoughts are as carefree as your spirit!  When your eyes open, you see another watercraft approaching – a fellow boater!  As you sail past each other, you exchange neighborly nods.  It’s an unspoken bond out there on the Delaware…

Hunger pangs interrupt your solace and you decide to fire up the old barbeque, perhaps sling back an ice cold beer.  Hmm…good sense tells you that 10:00am is too early to start drinking, but what the hell?  You’re on the Delaware.  You look back at the boat that had passed a few moments ago and now wish that you had asked them to tie off with you to enjoy some company and perhaps an ice cold beer or two (disclaimer:  do not drink and bob around on the Delaware)

Well, finding a friend on the Delaware just got a lot easier!  RiverWinds Yacht Club has been waiting for you!  We have many venues and functions and are confident that you will find something that interests you.  Please feel free to set a spell and look around our site

PAST EVENTS (current)

DRYL Poker Run:

Well our club name has made the high lights again. Our very own Warren Stout safety captained his boat and crew though the rain and storms to WIN the DRYL Poker Run.  Warren is such a stand up person that he split all of his winnings with his grew, stating that they were just as responsible for the winning as he was.  How thats a team player. I would like to congratulate Warren and his crew for their win.

Riverside Yacht Club Luau:

As always RiverWinds showed up in force with 5 boats and approx 13+/- people.  RiverWind almost being the visiting club with the most boats, but as usual National Park took the honors.  Anyway we all had a great time as usual including the huge dock party that followed the land party.  Like to say THANKS to Riverside for their hospitality and seamanship in docking us in close quarters. (SEE PHOTO Link)

National Park Tube Float:

Well I don't believe I need to say very much about this one.  Anyone that participated in this gathering will tell you it is one of the best on the water day's of the summer.  We all had a great time and finished the day off with hamburgers & Beer.  What more can you ask for.  Like to say THANKS to National Park Boat Club for their hospitality and welcomeness.
